I concur with the other comments - brilliant and inspiring! Thank you Alex - that was just the sort of thing I needed to read this (somewhat frustrating) morning.

Alex Noriega said...

Gracias, Judith.

I've recently started to draw again and you have no idea how this kind of message is important. I often felt very frustrated with the things I created, wanting them to look like what everyone else is doing, what the artist I admire do... but now I think I'm more conscious that we have to start somewhere.
Thank you :)

Hi, my name is not very important, but I need to say something about this.
tonigh is my first night after exams, i'm doing art studies and i failled the profesional part ofmy exam but i know i succed in my "personal work", i've spend a coupe of weeks wondering why i was doing those studies because i finally thought that i was not happy with it because i always had to keep my own personality "off" to be like they( my teachers and the actual world" want me to be. I didn't know your work before tonight, and this piece made me wrote this, i'm not the "speaking person' type, but i don't care, i wanted to tell you that i just realize that the most important is to be yourself, everybody have something special and we need to trust in ourself and stop being scared about all those people saying that we aren't capable of changing the world. We can do everything we want, we can make someone happy just being true and honest. We art PIECES OF ART. We need to trust, we need to feel like we are superheros because we are! I wasn't thinking like that before, always saying myself that i haven't talent and skills and being incapable of doing something different and changing the way people are seeing life but now i'm feeling like a warior and i want everybody to feel like i'm feeling tonight. My english is a french english so, sorry for mistakes but i needed to tell you that you are doing something good and tonight i just found that you touch me really deep, i'm happy to discover you, i hope you will keep doing what you love and being yourself because it's the best gift you can make to the entire world. Thank you, really.
