just out of curiosity, do you stay at a hostel? I'm pretty sure it's rather expensive to stay for months even in a hostel. I'm also thinking of going to Taiwan so I want to know where I can stay for a reasonable price for several months
I completely understand you! I lived in Japan a year, and 7/11 were one of the best things!, I miss them a lot. Plus the art supply store are great, even if don't need anything, you just go and want to but everything!!!
i was born in taiwan and lived there for almost 12 years before i moved to the US. I agree with all your observations and drawings. Nice job! Im looking forward to reading more of ur comics.

Starbucks = fashion statement ... girls wearing tons of makeup and colored contact lenses I did however experienced teenagers sync dancing outside MEMORIALS not MRT(which I found disrespectful)

and have you had tsong dra bing yet from a street cart? dan bing?
having spent the first 18 years of my life in taiwan.. this is dead accurate. thank you for bringing back some fond memories! i am definitely one of those MRT dancing kids HAHAHA
why you don't have search button? I was attending to find one of yours photo, but i can't.. It was about the soup and tradition, when guy pee in the soup....
If you really like tea, I recommend going to Maokong when you are free. You can go there just by taking the Maokong Gondola. You can have tea while viewing beautiful scenes, and there are some tea-related dishes, like tea chicken soup, tea shrimps, tea rice, etc. If you want to have a try, i would recommend this to you. Actually a lot of these things are also common in places like Macau and Hong Kong.
