I love this! Sleeping is the most important part of my life!
That's what I've been trying to tell everyone since I was born.
You've got that right. It is apparently critical for memory processing and somehow plays a role in the folding of proteins (one of the basic building blocks that makes us, us). But don't take my word for it, it's all covered in a very entertaining way on Radiolab's podcast, called "Sleep".
i like that
Sleep: it's definitely my favorite hobby.

unfortunately in a consumer-orientated society, sleep deprivation is become all the norm. we are losing more our sleeping time everyday due to economic competition. at my school, its was bad that many people began to get sick because.Their bodies transferred all the energy to keeping themselves awake which effectively shut down their immune system. The irony is sleep even though is a health concern , the authorities haven't really acknowledged it as much as other things that harm our bodies slowly. e.g. dietsstumblethesewords.blogspot.com
I believe sleep also affects quality of life. Too much or too little sleep is associated with a shorter lifespan—although it’s not clear if it’s a cause or effect.
