This was really interesting how you paired funny little drawings with such a serious subject. I kept waiting for a punch line but by the end I thought, 'Wow, this is for real.'
Argh! Great job on this great but utterly unsatisfying strip. How does it end!? I hope she makes it out okay, I'm assuming so based on the line of 'my seemingly dead sister' and the word-choice used. Thanks for posting part 2 of your epic, can't wait for part 3.
Thank you for writing SNOTM, it has changed the way I've thought about things and given me a good laugh when I needed one. You're an amazing illustrator with amazing (albeit sometimes silly) things to say. Really bro, thank you.
Hoping to read the 3rd part of this story soon. I just bookmarked this page- I'm a huge fan of your style- I hope you don't mind if I pin a few of your comics?
what if something happens to you and you can't write anymore all these people would be disappointed, you can email me the end and I'll keep it safe for you ,
I promise I wont tell anyone and Im sure no one will read this comment so it's all good. unless Anonymous reads it and hacks my email..then the deals off
I've been following your blog for a very long time but I never comment, I just figured you knew you were loved and had the support, I could just ride on the backs of their good will in the comments and read without commenting myself... To everyone so anxious for part 3...
Yes, I myself would really like to read it, but something this traumatic is really really hard to have to think about and deal with again. I get the sense that he's telling this story not just for us, but for his own healing process as well. It takes time. He will write it when he's ready. He will post it when he's ready. And while you work on this, I offer up my own love and support for the first time, since the others have started stopped giving that and instead demand an update.
English is not my native language so I am sorry if my comment confuses some people, but I mean what I say with my whole heart. It is not right to be selfish and think only of what we want in this case.
Thank you for sharing these stories in the most beautiful and personal of ways with us. I will await your update anxiously but without pressure. <3
