Woohoo welcome back, Alex! And a happy belated new year to you!

And I totally agree with that little sketch. I might just pass it to my sister so she'll take the hint. Wish me luck!

True! Today I was talking to my friend and he was complaning about his past in a very irritated way. I was trying to explain that there are two separated ways to follow when in a problem: 1) complain or 2) solve the problem.

Then I just saw this drawing. I think I could save some words and just show him this :)

thank god its SNOTM!

As much as I love the message present here, I must add: complaining lets you blow off some steam.

Which is a LOT better than just letting it all bottle up... Your head might explode.

true but untrue! complaining is a form of expression, even if not the noblest one! and if one wishes to express, one always should, but maybe in a less invasive way than noise polluting some else's ears!

with art perhaps! id love to see you complaining about something thru one of ure sketches!

When you complain, you don't expect to find a solution. You just want someone to listen to your ranting for a little while,i.e. until you get over it.

for the first time i definitely don't agree with you. complaining solves our deep necessity to cope with our own anger in a civilized way. and make us feel relieved and comprehended. i think mostly this is more important than the solution itself.

Bienvenido! Lo hemos extrañado bastante...Al fin vuelve nuestra dosis de "verdades universales" presentadas en un formato encantador! Muacks

This picture, and the comments, sadden me. While excessive and repeated complaining about something hurt more than help, if people never talked about their problems (i.e. complained) then we would have a very angry world. Talking about things helps you to understand them in your head and releases some of the tension. I would never hold complaining against anyone, and you shouldn't either! It's a natural, healthy thing to do. Not all problems are fixable.
