i really enjoy gazing and reflecting upon your stuff but i don't think hope can or should be kept logical.
the problem of our chubby geeky fellow, i think, is that he strives to be 'like' someone, which is misleading. for example: i admire your work; your drawings and reflections; but i shouldn't want to be like you. i am myself, and i should still be able to admire 'otherselves'. i also really admire michael jackson by the way; when i was seven i wanted to be like him :) i'm not chubby nor geeky. i'm corny and i have a rather big nose, just in case you'd like to make a cartoon about me.
the rant goes because i just quit my loathed job today, and I HAVE BIG HOPES ABOUT FREELANCING. during last week i had been looking at your blog, and today, just after the talk with my boss, i clicked on your (bookmarked) site and bam! so, as you can see, i needed to do this for myself.
I just re-posted this on my blog in remembrance of the King of Pop (with proper attribution of course!) check it out here: http://styleofa20something.blogspot.com/2010/06/in-remembrance.html
Your illustrations are so great. I can't wait to see more!
Im pretty sure you just sign up on a sheet and it'll be your turn next. Kim Jung Il is being Michael Jackson until next Thursday but after that its all yours

Love this, especially the little trees/shadows, which I think is a clever use of dot-shading. I'm new to this series, but it's great so far.
